Firstly we would like to warmly welcome the lovely Emma to our staff. She’s a real asset to us and is working on Saturdays and no doubt more over our busy periods. Sidmouth is a seasonal town in East Devon so we are super busy in the long hot summer months where everyone loves a sweet treat.

Carnival season is upon us in Devon and Somerset and we are very much looking forward to seeing Sidmouth’s entrants pass by the shop on Saturday 24th. We will be open until 8pm and we’d love to see you if you’re in town for the fair and festivities.

And of course, Halloween is creeping quietly up. Our stockroom is filling up with spiders, snails, skulls and various teeth to satisfy anyones spooky sweet desires. Personally I can’t wait to start ‘webbing’ the shop – fun! We have loads of Trick or treat ideas and a spooky sweet lucky dip will be available too. We might even dress up…

Of course, there are loads of new retro sweet hamper, American candy hampers, Personalised gift jars and gift ideas coming to for you know what… too early to say the word yet!
