Ever wondered what it’s like to work in a sweet shop?

My 4th day working at Daffydowndilly has flown by with a focus on American sweets!

We spent most of this morning restocking our American range of goodies. Including cereal boxes of Reeces Puffs and Lucky Charms. And jars of Reeces Peanut Butter which I’m told are very popular.

It has been a steep learning curve so far. From trying my first Mega Sour to designing and making several Candy Cakes. Not once have I found myself with nothing to do. What is really lovely to see, as a newcomer to the store, is the range of customers that come through the door. From holiday makers to regular customers, old and young alike, we seem to attract as wide a variety as the sweets we sell! It is definitely a fun place to work and I am excited to be part of something that brings a smile to people’s faces.

Anyway, i’m on a mission to learn more about our products and prices etc before I’m in again on Sunday. Don’t forget to pop in to see the lovely Natalie and Lucy to celebrate our 2nd Birthday on Friday. Enjoy the spring sunshine and hopefully those April showers will stay away!
